For Blastball:

- Oceanside Minor Baseball will provide bats.
For Rookie & Tadpole:
- Standard running shoes or shoes with molded rubber cleats
- Baseball glove
- Batting Helmet
- Oceanside Minor Baseball will provide bats.
For Mosquito:
- Standard running shoes or shoes with molded rubber cleats
- Baseball glove
- Batting Helmet
- Athletic support (jock/jill)
- Oceanside Minor Baseball will provide bats. If personal bats are used, they shall not be more than thirty-two inches (32") in length. Bats shall not be more than two and one-quarter inches (2-1/4") in diameter at its thickest part.
For PeeWee:
- Standard running shoes or shoes with molded rubber cleats

- Athletic support (jock/jill)
- Oceanside Minor Baseball will provide bats. If personal bats are used, they shall not be more than thirty-three inches (33") in length. Bats shall not be more than two and three-quarter inches (2-3/4") in diameter at its thickest part.
For Bantam:
- Standard running shoes or shoes with molded rubber cleats. Baseball shoes with metal cleats WILL BE permitted. Metal cleats sharpened or pointed are prohibited.
- Baseball glove
- Batting Helmet
- Athletic support (jock/jill)
- Oceanside Minor Baseball will provide bats. If personal bats are used, they shall not be more than thirty-three inches (42") in length. Bats shall not be more than two and three-quarter inches (2-3/4") in diameter at its thickest part. For Bantam AAA, the -3 Rule ("Drop of 3") applies.
The -3 Rule means that:
- A 30-inch bat may not weigh less than 27 oz.
- A 31-inch bat may not weigh less than 28 oz.
- A 32-inch bat may not weigh less than 29 oz.
- A 33-inch bat may not weigh less than 30 oz.
- A 34-inch bat may not weigh less than 31 oz.
For Midget:
- Standard running shoes or shoes with molded rubber cleats. Baseball shoes with metal cleats WILL BE permitted. Metal cleats sharpened or pointed are prohibited.
